Food Drive

8 sessions featuring a different stitch each month. We will be making approximately a 12” square of each of the stitches. These can then be sewed together to make anything from a blanket to a scarf. $15 per session or $100 for all 8 sessions (catch up sessions scheduled as needed) One Friday per month, 11am - 12pm Session 1: Simple stitch Session 2: Tunisian Knit stitch Session 3: Tunisian Purl stitch Session 4: Tunisian Half Double Crochet stitch Session 5: Tunisian Seed stitch Session 6: Tunisian Moss stitch Session 7: Tunisian Clusters stitch Session 8: Tunisian Wave stitch Prerequisites: • Chain stitch • Single crochet • Double crochet Supplies*: • Recommend using a medium weight, light-colored yarn with a smooth texture to better see the stitches (purchased from the shop) • Tunisian crochet hook USJ *not included in the cost of the session. 10% discount for supplies.

It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced knitter or a beginner. Mistakes happen. This class includes techniques for fixing common mistakes so that you do not need to pull everything out and start over. Cost $35 You will learn: • Unknitting and unpurling (aka tinking) • How to pick up dropped stitches • Frogging (unraveling your work down to the mistake and getting it back on the needles) Prerequisites: • Cast on • Knit • Purl • Bind off Supplies*: • Worsted or DK yarn (light solid color) previously purchased from the shop. • Knitting needles size US6-US8 • Crochet hook sizes F or G *not included in the cost of the class Completed homework: • CO 20 stitches. • Work 10 rows in garter stitch (knit all rows) • Work 10 rows in stockinette stitch (knit a row, purl a row) • Don’t cut the yarn • Leave the work on your needles.
